This apartment unit was purchased directly from the builder and was interior design was completed with the goal of living for the owner. However, due to some changes in the plan, the apartment is now listed for sale by the owner.

Interior work and enhancements done by the owner includes:

Full kitchen cabinets, granite counter top, wardrobes in all 3 bed rooms, bed and mattress in 2 bed rooms, A/c in master bedroom, custom designed sofar set and dining table with bench in teak wood, TV stand, large shoerack, tables in the bed rooms etc. All furniture are carefully custom designed after lot fo research. Kitchen was converted into an open kitchen which is a deviation from the original plan by the builder. Many imprtovements have been done from the original plan and design.

This is a brand new apartment project in Kalamassery. People started living by end of 2021. The owners association came in existence in April 2022. The unit I am selling was purchased during the construction phase. The interior work was completed in January 2022. We had plans to use this as a second home and made lot of enhancements and improvements including converting the kitchen to an open kitchen. All interior work was made with custom designed furniture with the goal of using them for ourselve. But due to some changes in plan, we decided to sell it.
Rainwoods by Prime Meridian apartment is located near the Pios X church in the road from North Kalamassery to Glass Factory. The property was constructed in a thick rubber plantation with a lot of greenery around. However, some of those areas were converted into a residential plots with a lot of happening around the property now.
A new turf court is getting ready adjacent to this property. Rajagiri sports complex is around 1.5 km from here with lot of sports activities including indoor wooden floor badminton courts with public access.
There are only a few apartment projects in Kalamassery area due to lack of availability of land in this semi-urban area. Some other premium apartment and villa projects you may want to consider are Good Earth Modern Times and Asset Kasavu.
Rainwoods is almost sold out but there are few units available in the lower floors and without any interior work. In this case, we have completed all interior work and it is ready to live.

Yes, you can easily walk to the metro station and national highway.
Yes, rainwoods is at a distance of about 1.5 km. Students can comfortably walk through short roads with almost no traffic. If you drop kids by bike, you can take the same short route. However, since the road is a little narrow with just sufficient (or less) width to pass through opposite driving cars, if you are not comfortable driving in narrow roads, you may want to take a little longer route which is very wide.

We are currently paying Rs 3000 per month as maintenance charges.
We have a young and vibrant community, mostly working people including doctors and IT professionals. Some business men and celebrities also live here. There are lot of kids making the pool, park and play areas always busy and engaging.
Most of the people living here are from various places in Kerala, with their kids going to Rajagiri Public School or working in Amrita hospital and other business establishments in Kochi area.
Almost all units are already sold out. People are currently moving in. About 20 families are currently living here and we expect majority of the units to be occupied by the beginning of next academic year or by this year end.
We do have multiple borewell units and also use water authority supplied drinking water. Some families have implemented their owner residential water purifiers. Our apartment has the provision to install a home water purifier.
All constructions works are completed and builders have handed over the management to the owners association.
Yes, we have a very convenient, wide, safe parking slot for us purchased at an additional cost. This is included with the apartment.

It depends on your preferences. I have been living in Kalamassery for a long time and I decided to buy an apartment in Rainwoods since I believe this is one of the best apartments in Kalamassery. If you are looking for an affordable, premium apartment with a swimming pool and near to rajagiri Public School, this is a good choice.
I have no hurry to sell this apartment but keen on selling. The price I have listed is just my actual cost including the purchase cost, add-on cost for enhancements like open kitchen, interior work with high quality material by a reputed designer, custom designed teak-wood furniture, beds and mattresses, A/c unit, table and chairs etc. If you are not interested in the furniture, A/c etc, I can remove them and adjust the price for the same.
There are a few small, 3 storey or 4 storey apartment projects in Kalamassery. However, they are the kind of premium apartment projects like rainwoods. If you are looking for really low cost apartment projects in Kalamassery, then just drive around North Kalamassery - Karippai road - Glass Factory road - Pious X Church Road and you will find a few small residential projects at a much lower cost.
Well, just like any other apartment projects, there are few things that I wish to have been better here. They are: 1. The club house facilities are scattered into different places like ground floor, first floor, roof top garden etc. I wish they were in a single place. 2. The surrounding land is pretty small. I wish there was larger land around the apartment. 3. I wished to have a badminton court but that is sort of solved now by the new turf court near by. 4. Each unit has a private balcony garden that can be filled with soil but I wish the plants were provided by the builder and maintained by the owners association. Without that, many owners would convert that space into a private space for other use, which kind of spoils the ambience
